About Khara



Khara has had multiple opportunities to be featured in many things. Such as The Lion King at Morehouse College playing Sarafina and premiering Walmart product demonstration videos being one of the many. In addition she has played the role of a French girl named Ghana in the play South Pacific at the little Rogers Theatre. she appeared in the play "Black Nativity" by Langston Hughes at North Carolina A&T, and Khara has just accepted the rising star award for this play. Khara has produced and directed many scripts and plays written by herself and others. Khara has attended Heritage High school Preforming Arts Academy where she took up Film and television/ Musical Theatre. Graduating her senior year at North Springs charter high school where she took up senior production. Khara also played the role as Mrs. Hannigan in her fifth grade play "Annie". Informercial  called Mushy Mugs for Janine productions. Khara went to Benton county school of the arts(BCSA) were she took theatre, photography,​ advance drama classes. Then she joined the Actor Scene training in T.V. commercial, Improve scene, business of acting. Khara has done many live theatre performances at Hopewell Christian Academy, and is currently studying film production at Clayton State University and Georgia Film Academy.



When Khara was five to eight years old she was dancing at Hopewell Christian Academy. Around the age of seven she joined the Ballethnic Dance Company where she learned all types of dance like ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, jazz, ballroom and break dancing. Khara is also a former dancer at Susan Chambers Dance Company. Khara has taken dance at Benton County School of the Arts, she was honored to preform at the Atlanta Georgia Hawks game with the teams dance team in 2009. Khara preformed at the North Carolina A&T state parade and preformed at the Martin Luther King parade for "Black History" month. Khara was also on her school dance team at Page high school. Khara has joined the Heritage Dance Academy at Heritage High school where she took up Jazz. Her senior year she attended North Springs charter high school where she took up modern dance & is currently on her college majorette team.



Khara has worn designs by Amari & Mari clothing line in the Morehouse College 2017 Lion King.She has also appeared in 2016 Holiday Preview fashion shows by Sudi styles. In 2012  Khara was selected to model in ConnectNYC model and talent premier.
